The NBOC’s community portal is a source for industry connections, and was created to support communications, knowledge sharing, and collaboration between marine industry stakeholders in Southeastern Massachusetts. Join the portal to post a job or event, identify potential supply chain partners, and share industry insights and trends with other cluster companies. Post an Event
Add industry events as they relate to the NBOC Pillar Industries.
- Go to the pillar community your event is associated with and click “Events” on the community menu. Use the “Create” button to create your event.
2. Go to the “Events” page on the main menu screen. Your event will now be visible on the event calendar and will be featured as an upcoming event.
Post a job, contract, or resource in our Opportunity Library
1. Go to the “Communities” tab on the portal main menu and click “My Pillar Communities.” Go to the associated pillar community and click “Opportunity Library” on the community menu or “View more library entries” below the latest opportunity post.
2. Click “Create Entry” to create a library entry. Add a link to your content or upload a document with information about your opportunity.
Start a Discussion
Share your thoughts, opinions, and insights on issues impacting your business, industry trends, and opportunities for innovation and growth.
1. Go to the “Communities” tab on the portal main menu and click “My Pillar Communities.” Go to the associated pillar community and click “Discussion” on the community menu or “View more discussions” below the latest discussion post.
2. Click “Post New Message” to create a new discussion post. Community members will be able to interact and respond to your discussion thread!
Create a Blog Post
Post an article, share your thoughts and ideas, and showcase products or company developments.
1. Go to the “Communities” tab on the portal main menu and click “My Pillar Communities.” Go to the associated pillar community and click “Blog” on the community menu.
2. Click “Create a New Blog Post” to create a new blog entry. Community members will be able to interact and comment on your blog post!
