Mandi B. Costa serves as the Branch Chief of Outreach and Public Engagement for the U.S. Department of Labor, Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs. She is a former Assistant District Director with OFCCP’s Boston District Office. She is a retired Navy Chief Petty Officer (1984-2005). Mandi is a graduate of the University of New Mexico with a Bachelors in African American Studies and Women’s Studies and received her Master’s in Criminal Justice with a focus on Forensic Science from Saint Leo’s University.

Mandi serves as the Adjutant for the Cape Verdean American Veterans Association, is a founding member of the New Bedford Light, is on the Board of Directors for the Southcoast Women’s Fund and serves on the DE&I Committee for the New Bedford Ocean Cluster.
