R & W Rope

R&W Rope is a family owned, full-service rope and gear distributor, with over 30 years of experience in the industry. Regardless of the application, R&W Rope can steer their customers in the right direction to meet specific needs. Since 1985, the business has grown to over 14,000 skus of rope and hardware, a full service rigging and splicing shop, as well as a rope interior/exterior design team.

In addition to the textile goods, R&W Rope offer gear such as helmets, harnesses, lanyards, carabiners, pulleys, hardware, and more. Plus, they have a fully staffed rigging department to address needs in the recreational and traditional sailing arenas, including wiring (and wire splicing) for standing rigging. Complementing that is the fabrication department, which can create splicing based solutions for many standard and unique applications. Creativity is their strength.

Customers are from a variety of industries and use R&W Rope products in many diverse applications. The company has sold ropes and gear to many rope access situations, including wind turbine applications- it’s a natural fit. R&W Rope also sell to companies manufacturing components for offshore wind applications, thus supporting a range of tiers in the offshore wind supply chain.
